Holmes Sweet Home was built in 1997 overlooking a private 65 acre lake to experience southern luxury in the quiet country. Our central location between Laurens, Clinton, Greenwood and Newberry allows easy access to the city. Guests may choose a healthy hike, outdoor games, horse shoes, swimming, hot spa, boat ride, "catch and release" fishing, kite flying, hammocks and swings or just rest, relax and read.
Our facilities are available as a Christian retreat for weddings, Bible study groups, bridal or baby showers, bridge or garden club events, business sessions or birthday parties. We have four guest rooms with a private bath and two guest rooms that share a hall bath. We are building a country cabin which will be ideal for couples marriage enrichment, parent and child bonding or an artistic getaway.
We offer home cooked meals and menu guides for local restaurants. If you prefer, you may cook something for yourself in our kitchen.
